Austin learned about Obon festivals on day 2. They decorated hachimaki headbands, made origami tanabata stars and wrote wishes on cards to hang on a bamboo branch. His homework for tonight was filling out his family tree all the way to his great-great grandparents. Thanks to Nanny for sending us half of his family tree info!
